China Modern Agriculture Development Forum, approved by Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of People’s Republic of China, is founded in 2014 and sponsored by China Association of Agricultural Science Societies (CAASS). It is a nationwide and integrative platform of academic exchange and is held once a year, focusing on one particular theme around the frontline of agricultural science and technologies and the three major issues concerning agriculture, rural areas and farmers. The Forum consists of plenary lectures and several seminars, and is intended to agglomerate and folster innovation, improve interdisciplinary fusion and serve modernization of agriculture and rural areas.
