From sexy to sophisticated cocktails,
make your wedding day the toast of the town by serving
your guests fabulous signature sips during your reception.

 

Kick off your reception with a spicy start like a Tamarind Ginger Sour:
  • 3 oz. bourbon
  • 1 oz. tamarind juice (from frozen puree)
  • 1 tsp. fresh ginger juice (use a juice extractor)
  • Splash of fresh lime juice
  • Splash of grenadine
Put all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and strain over ice into a double-old-fashioned glass.

Garnish: lime or orange sections.

 

Show your city side with a Cosmopolitan:
  • 3 parts citrus vodka
  • 2 parts triple sec
  • 1 part fresh lime
  • Splash of cranberry juice
Shake all ingredients together with ice, then strain into a chilled martini glass.

Garnish: Use a flower that reflects your theme.

 

Let your love reign with a Passion:
  • Passion fruit juice
  • Vodka
Shake equal parts juice and vodka with crushed ice, strain into glass and garnish with the fruit.

Garnish: fresh fruit kabob of cantaloupe, honeydew and watermelon balls on a drink stick.

 

Celebrate your honeymoon destination with a Blue Hawaiian:
  • Rum
  • Blue Curaçao
  • Pineapple juice
Sour mix Shake equal parts of ingredients with crushed ice and strain into a glass rimmed with coconut.

Garnish: coconut flakes and dried pineapple slice.

 

Give your guests a special treat with an Apple Sour:
  • 2 oz. bourbon
  • 1 oz. sour apple schnapps
  • Splash of apple cider
  • Splash of fresh lime
  • Splash of simple syrup
Pour all ingredients (except garnish) into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and strain over ice into a highball or a double-old-fashioned glass.

Garnish: thin slices of Granny Smith apples.

 

On your wedding day always remember to Make a Wish:
  • 3 oz. vodka
  • 1 oz. blue curaçao
Splash of tonic water Pour vodka and curaçao in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a martini glass. Finish with a splash of tonic water.

Garnish: with a radish slice cut into a shooting star shape.

 

Make a sweet ending to the perfect day with a Cotton Candy:
  • 2 oz. melted Australian pink chocolate
  • 2 1/2 oz. Belvedere vodka
Shake pink chocolate and vodka with crushed ice and strain into glass rimmed with more melted pink chocolate and white sugar.

Garnish: melted pink chocolate, white sugar, and white chocolate curls

 

All Stocked up: Putting together your own bar?
Here is a basic setup for about 100 guests:
  • Beer: at least 2 cases
  • Whiskey: 1-2 liters
  • Bourbon: 1-2 liters
  • Gin: 2 liters
  • Scotch: 3 liters
  • Light rum: 2 liters


  • Vodka: 6 liters
  • Tequila: 1 liter
  • Champagne: 1 1/2 cases
  • Red wine: 8 bottles
  • White wine: 1 1/2 cases
  • Dry vermouth: 2 bottles
  • Sweet vermouth: 2 bottles
