1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY.
2. PARTICIPATION CONSTITUTES ACCEPTANCE OF RULES AND DECISIONS, CONSENT TO USE AND RELEASE OF CLAIMS. By entering this contest, each participant warrants that he or she has read and agrees to abide by all contest rules and that he or she is not prohibited from participating in the contest. Participation in this contest constitutes participant's full and unconditional acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of Jean M, its parents, affiliates, employees and agents, which are final, binding and non-negotiable in all respect. Each participant agrees to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless Jean M and its parents, affiliates, shareholders, employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives, advertising and promotion agencies and prize suppliers from any liability arising from or related to the contest, including without limitation: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the contest; (b) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, or telephone or network lines; (c) printing errors; (d) lost, late, postage-due, misdirected, or undeliverable mail; (d) personal injury, death, and property damage; and (e) claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy. Further, participants fully and unconditionally release all claims for consideration, copyright infringement and all other claims of any nature relating to the use of their entry, name or likeness.
3. ELIGIBILITY. This contest is open to U.S. residents twenty-one (21) years of age and older with a wedding date that falls between January 1, 2010 and December 31, 2010. Proof of age and identity must be furnished upon request. Employees, agents, independent dealers and affiliates of Jean M and its agents, affiliates and immediate family members of all such persons, are not eligible to participate in this contest. Jean M reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, suspend, or amend this contest at any time for any reason. Jean M further reserves the right to amend these contest rules at any time without prior notice, at its sole discretion. Jean M reserves the right to disqualify any participant for any reason, including, but not limited to, violation of these Official Rules or infringement of the rights of a third-party.
4. TO ENTER. This contest begins on March 31, 2009 and ends May 13, 2009 ("Contest Period"). To enter this contest, participants are asked to go to the Jean M website located at www.myjeanm.com, download and complete the entry form provided on the Jean M website, including participant's name, mailing address, email address, and other entry requirements. Participants must email the completed entry form along with a photograph of the participant and her/his fiancé/fiancée to bridesearch@myjeanm.com during the Contest Period ("Eligible Entries"). Photographs must be provided in one of the following file types: jpg, gif or png.
By entering this contest and submitting a photograph, participant hereby irrevocably authorizes Jean M to utilize participant’s name and photograph submitted for such purposes as Jean M may choose, including, but not limited to, posting the photographs on Jean M’s Facebook page. Jean M is not obligated to use any photograph. In addition, in connection with the participant’s photograph, Jean M may also post wedding details from the participant’s entry form.
Only one entry per person. By submitting an entry, participant agrees to abide by these Official Rules. Persons submitting entries under false pretenses will be disqualified. Jean M is not responsible for telecommunications, network, electronic, technical or computer failures of any kind. Jean M is not responsible for any lost or misdirected mail sent by participant or Jean M.
5. THE WINNER. On or around June 1, 2009, a panel of judges, selected by Jean M, will determine who the one (1) winner will be from all Eligible Entries. The criteria the judges will use to determine the winner from all Eligible Entries will include, but is not limited to: (1) Uniqueness of the Participant's wedding details, including the location, the decorations, the ceremony, etc. - 40%; (2) Photogenic qualities of the bride and groom’s entry photograph - 20%; (3) A bride who fits the definition of a "Jean M Bride" 40%. A "Jean M Bride" is defined as a bride who wants and plans her wedding to be a creative and unique expression of who she is.
After the first winner is selected, an alternate winner will be selected. The alternate winner's name will be placed in a sealed envelope. The sealed envelope will be held by Jean M to be opened only in the event that the first winner selected is discovered to be invalid for any reason whatsoever or if the winner does not contact Jean M or properly accept the prize within the time frame specified in paragraph 7 below. If such an event should occur, the person selected as the alternate winner will become the winner, subject to the same rules and conditions set forth herein. All results of the contest are final and binding. The judges' determination is final and conclusive on all parties.
6. THE PRIZE. The winner will receive as a prize four thousand dollars ($4,000) worth of wedding services and products from Jean M, as determined by Jean M in its sole discretion. The products and services may include such things as invitations, wedding accessories, wedding programs, etc. In addition, if necessary, as determined solely by Jean M, Jean M will arrange travel arrangements to the Jean M's Corporate Headquarters to finalize the prize and for the consultation services. Travel, hotel stay, and meals while in North Mankato, Minnesota will be arranged by Jean M. The prize must be redeemed no later than the date of the wedding, as specified on the entry form. If the prize is not redeemed prior to the date of the wedding, it will be forfeited by the winner.
In addition, photographs and/or video clips from the winner's wedding will be featured on a segment called "OMG My Wedding is On TV" on Get Married's television show on the cable channel Lifetime and/or on the Get Married website. The winner must cooperate with Jean M to provide video clips and/or photographs, as requested by Jean M, following the winner's wedding, to be featured on the Get Married's segment and/or the Get Married's website. In addition, the winner must provide Jean M with all necessary releases from the individuals featured in the video and/or photographs. Such releases must be in the possession of Jean M before the winner will be featured on the segment. Neither Jean M nor Get Married will feature any video clips and/or photographs in which they have not been able to collect the necessary releases.
Finally, the winner will also receive a certificate for a honeymoon package for two (2) individuals valued at $3,500 from NWA WorldVacations LIFESTYLE Collection featuring Romance ("Honeymoon Package"). The Honeymoon Package will include two (2) airline tickets, hotel accommodations, transportation to and from the airport and hotel, luggage handling at the hotel, maid and/or bellman gratuities, and a local host or toll-free number for assistance. Details regarding the package can be found at the following web address, http://www.nwaworldvacations.com/planning/theme/romance/index.do, and on the certificate provided by Jean M to the winner. The winner must contact a LIFESTYLE Collection Specialist at a phone number listed on the certificate for booking the package. All bookings must be arranged no later than March 15, 2010 and travel must take place before April 15, 2010.
Jean M reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute any prize. No more than the advertised number of prizes will be awarded. The winner is responsible for taxes any and all other costs and expenses not listed above. All decisions of the judges of this contest are final, binding and non-negotiable. No prize may be transferred or substituted
7. IDENTIFICATION OF POTENTIAL WINNER. Jean M will notify the winner by first class mail, email, and/or telephone on or around June 8, 2009 at the information provided on the entry form. Jean M is not responsible for lost, stolen, late, or misdirected mail. If unable to make contact with the winner within ten (10) days after Jean M's first attempts to notify the winner, or if the winner fails to claim the prize in accordance with these Official Rules, Jean M will award the prize to the alternate winner, as described in paragraph 5 above. The winner must claim the prize by signing and returning the Authorization and Release form provided by Jean M, signing and returning a copy of these contest rules, and a completed W-9 form no later than June 30, 2009. In addition, the winner will cooperate with Jean M to get all necessary releases in place for the photographs.

9. MISCELLANEOUS. By entering this contest, participants consent to Jean M's use of their name, likeness, image and biographical data for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. BECAUSE PERSONAL INFORMATION FROM PARTICIPANTS WILL BE COLLECTED BY ENTERING THIS CONTEST, PARTICIPANTS SHOULD REVIEW Jean M's Privacy Policy, which can be found at www.myjeanm.com. By entering this contest, participant authorizes Jean M to contact participant for commercial purposes via fax, telephone, or e-mail address listed on the participant's entry form. There will be no use of participants name or other personal information for future commercial purposes except as in accordance with Jean M's privacy policy. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without giving effect to conflicts of law rules.
