Q: Help! I need an idea for collecting cards at my reception. I've heard horror stories of cards being lost -- or worse, stolen. Plus, I want my gift table to look pretty. Am I asking for the impossible?
A: No -- you're wise! You want guests to know where to place cards at your reception, and you want these gifts to be secure. Get creative! I've seen couples collect cards in bird cages, "treasure chests" -- even a lobster trap at a beach-side wedding! We also offer a satin-covered card box as well as a mailbox-shaped box you can decorate for this purpose. Whatever you choose to hold cards, I suggest asking a trusted friend or relative to be your gift table attendant. This person can help guests deposit gifts and also keep an eye on the packages until it's time to transport them to the gift opening location.
